From time to time, we will have special topics, passages, or a series of lessons about current events or other topics that impact our lives. Even though our times seem turbulent and changes are hard for us to predict, the word of God is timeless and enduring; it gives guidance to us no matter what is happening around us in our culture.

We do this to help God’s people “be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within [them]” (1 Peter 3.15) and to help those seeking for answers find them in the word of God. The word of God is truth (John 17.17), and since truth never changes, we should expect to find all the answers we need in the book that God has given us (cf. 2 Peter 1.3). Let’s open the Bible and see what God is telling us about how to glorify him in our culture today.

Hatred Toward LGBTQ and Unbelievers

Is it right to be hateful and hurtful toward those who are sinning? Toward those who are unbelievers? What about recent preachers who prayed for victims of terror attacks to die? Let's open the Bible and look at the love God says we ought to have for our fellow human beings, even if they're living contrary to God's will.

Romans 5.1-5 - God's Holy Spirit

God makes it possible for us to be saved and goes even further than that by giving us his Holy Spirit. It is through the Holy Spirit that God's love is poured out into our hearts. If we are going to be spiritual people, then we will be filled with God's love.

Paul’s letter to the Romans is one of the most popular epistles in the New Testament. It has served as a hotbed of controversy over doctrine sine the reformation in the 16th century and continue to be the center of great discussions today. It talks about topics like justification, baptism, salvation, faith, grace, works, and covers a whole host of other things.

Join us as we journey through Paul’s letter to see what God is telling about these things. Reading and learning from Romans will enrich our faith and deepen our commitment to follow God wherever he leads us. Let’s dig into the word and see what God is saying!

Importance of God’s Word

The Bible is central to everything we believe and do. There is no better guide for how to live a life that glorifies God and shows love to our neighbors than the Bible. If you love God’s word, then you’ll like what we do: all of our sermons and teaching focus on the Scriptures. If you’re looking for a place that keeps the Bible at the forefront and teaches only what God says, then you should come visit and help us worship God and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bring your Bible, and dive in into the word of life with us!

Expository Sermons

Most of our sermons focus on the text of Scripture rather than specific topics. Just reading through and examining the Scriptures will cover most religious topics. More importantly, when we just examine what God has said, we are more likely to hear only what God has said. While people’s opinions can be helpful, ultimately we need God’s word to guide us.

Topical Sermons

Sometimes, it’s helpful to get an overview on what the Bible teaches. For example, there are a many places in the Bible that talk about faith, works, grace and baptism. By getting a good overview of what the Bible teaches, we can gain critical insight we need when really digging into a specific text later.

Bible Study

Studying the Bible is a great way to grow closer to God. The Lord has graciously preserved his word for us so we can hear and understand his will for our lives. Our Bible studies focus on the words God has given us in the Scriptures, helping us to learn more about God and the glorious promises he has given us. We have classes for all ages, so feel free to visit us with the whole family; there’s something for everyone!

It’s not always easy to live faithfully; sometimes we struggle and we need help to overcome temptation or simply make it through our day.
